Albert Munoz, MS, ATC, PTA, CSCS, Cert. MDT

Albert Munoz is a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who brings a diverse background in Spinal and Sports rehabilitation to AS&ST.  He is a 1995 graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he received his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. Upon graduation he continued his education at A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa where he obtained a Masters of Science in Sports Health Care. Albert has worked for over 14 years with high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes caring for a wide range of sports injuries and conditions. In 2005 he completed his degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Arapahoe Community College in Colorado. Albert specializes in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT) an evidence based approach to spinal assessment and treatment. He lives in Chandler, AZ with wife Vickie and sons Alex and Bryce.  In addition to spending time with his family Albert enjoys working on computers and tech gadgets and studies Japanese Swordmanship.
